The BIG picture! Today we’re hosting our new member interest meeting, where we will outline the current stage of Chim Lac’s cooperative development, overarching mission and vision, and review member onboarding processes, as it applies to the cooperative business model. We end the evening, hopeful you’ve applied to join us.

The objective of today’s meeting is to elect the board of directors, solidify operational roles, review and approve cooperative bylaws.

A cooperative is only as strong as its members. This event will focus on team building and getting to know each other through the well respected art of open mic and show and tell. Share some of your talents and passion projects with the team. Let’s plants seeds on what we can co-create together and support in each other.

A strong governing body audits early and consistently. We will establish KPIs and annual goals at this meeting, as well as schedule regular pulse checks on integral performance metrics, reporting, and membership satisfaction. A yearly impact report will be released either the last quarter of the year or the first of the new year.

Now that we’ve shared some of our creative aspirations or projects in development, let’s formalize proposals and pick an independent project(s) to produce for 2027.
